kirk harper - Us Teenagers

2014-06-14 13

Some of us like to be bling,
Some of us like to sing.
We think of the old as moany,
They think of us as phoney.

They don’t understand me or you,
Because they don’t think we are true.
But really were both to blame,
As we do drive them insane.

We all like to be cool,
If we aren’t the same I’m the fool.
There’s a lot that give us this bad name,
So all of us shouldn’t get the blame.

We aren’t all bad,
And no we aren’t sad.
Listen then they could,
I am not ashamed to wear a hood.

Raps not just noise,
Just cause it’s not the beach boys,
So all you that are older start thinking bolder,
Then you’ll understand we aren’t all colder.
