Where should I look, I’ve lost my mind
Where is that glow in my eyes
They must be hiding with father time
Where is the one I need to find
I need directions, I need a sign
I wonder if this clock will ever chime.
Where are my dreams I need them now
Are they in the ground, or in the clouds
Why can’t I envision what’s beyond this shroud
I know that you claim to be my friend
And you will be with me until the end
But will I ever come to know your love again
I think this is real but I could be wrong
This heart, it sings the same old songs
I’ll take this journey, wont you come along?
It’s almost as if I’m not me at all
Who I am, I cannot recall
Maybe I hit my head too hard on this fall.
Bring me your thoughts, your love, your lies
I’ll take your fears, your strengths, and your cries
Then one day we will have to say goodbye.
If I found my mind what would arise
Could I take my dreams back from the skies
Maybe that glow would come back to my eyes
