I thought 'I could be something great'
Someone told me 'Put your trust in fate and see'
I said 'I control my own destiny'
Someone told me 'Everything happens for a reason'
I thought 'We have so many things left undone'
Someone told me 'Put your trust in fate'
I said 'Your fate is only what you can make'
No one said anything about a thing called luck
Because sometimes, some things can really suck
Do you ever feel like your life is on a course?
Like someone else has the wheel, or another force
I'm taking control of my destiny and fate
But I'll take the long road just in case
So come join me at the wheel of fate
And together can trust our shot at fate
