A cloudless sky at eventide
subtly adopts a deeper hue.
High overhead the moon is new
and stars are scattered far and wide
I gaze in wonder open eyed
as shooting stars play peek a boo
and comets, comets tails pursue.
I try to but I can’t decide.
Which of these marvels I can see,
I find appeals the most to me.
There’s such a wide variety.
Although I do my uttermost
I know I cannot possibly
opt for just one amongst the host.
