Overflowed through Shiva's tresses
Submerging Lord Himself
Cataclysm...
when Shiva floats
Blissfully in the fatal waters
Cataclysm...
when people were the props
In Ganga's dance of death
Cataclysm...
when death stopped by
To gather its booty
Along the banks
Cataclysm...
when the earth caved in
To fold human life into
Its unknown niches
Cataclysm...
when mountains rolled
Down the unprepared earth
Cataclysm...
when life's buried under
Vast sheets if water in revolt
And crushed under boulders
Yes, cataclysm is not
An event far into future
It's here and now!
