The stars shine down
From the heavens, so brightly
I can see a few
From the breaks in the clouds
The moon beams rest
On her face, so lightly
Shining off the rain
That fell from the sky
I grasp her hand
Just ever so slightly
And whisper to her
I love you tonight
A moment passed
Our eyes locked tightly
And we knew just then
What fate had in store
Our eyes fell shut
Our lips met gently
And for a moment
All was right
