Andrew Rose - Blood Lilys

2014-06-13 1

Flowing white from lip to lip,
crimson calls from a sloping pit,
skin and dress
like kith and kin,
her ladys light
flowing from within,

It slowly creeps up the sides,
eating innocence as snow white lies,
tears adorn the pale cheeks,
evanescent in her final sleep,

Root by root
they replaced her skin,
a gods way was done,
and she was his,

A lilly like all the rest,
in a pool
where blood was water,
forever blessed
