Where will my paper plane fall?
I am so used to seeing it go around and around
Rising up but far to steep
Then always dipping down and thudding into the ground
But today there was an addition to the blueprint
It was that I had added my declaration of love
From my nervous hand I set it free as if it were my paper planes first flight
But I have no idea what happened to my paper plane it just took off into the night
When will my paper plane return so I may learn whose heart it found
I can’t believe that this time it just flew up and straight back down to the ground
I just know this time its bravery in flight will have been observed with admiration
I just know its cargo of my expression of love will meet expectation
Where will my paper plane fall?
I am so used to seeing it go around and around
Rising up but far to steep
Then always dipping down and thudding into the ground
But today from my nervous hand I set it free as if it were my paper planes first flight
But I have an idea that this time it will find its way and bring back a message from a true heart tonight
From whom I wonder will my paper plane return
