My little cigarette
Oh my little cup cake
I keep you in my pocket for God’s sake
You take my breath away
You coat my aching heart
What might I have done without a friend like you?
What would I have done if I were without you?
My raspberry pie
My wounded cry
I keep you close to my heart
You wish that you were able to grow wings
But where would that leave me
To where would you fly?
I said I would one day point out the way
But then I would be alone
I lay little rings that sing to entrance you
I draw long loops that trap
the things you need not ever know
