Midnight moon's glow, shades of desire,
whispers in the winds, as my heart
flows. Within the winds come
the memories of you, the memories
that I want to let go.
Still they come and crash upon my
heart, like the stormy seas in the night,
How can I set them free, when upon
my dreams they take flight?
Tears of life flood the oceans wide,
the stars in the Heaven's no longer my
guide, their light dim, as the cloud
covers their beauty, misty eyes, filled
with him.
The one I search for each night, his hand
I reach for, still emptiness lies in mine.
No sounds of my heart beating with the
rythym of the night, lonely is this heart,
as again it takes flight.
Moon casting it's sadness upon my soul,
lonely like me, it's night as dark as coal.
All the world quiet as my dreams begin,
when will all this heartache end?
Still in my dreams you come to me,
life wakes this heart once again, as you
promise me to never leave. Every morning
over again, the rain falls gently down my
face, as the memories come within the winds.
