You're beautiful, but are you complete
I thought by now we would meet.
it could be quite discreet.
You're always so beautiful.
who could compete, with your looks on the street.
Beautiful, you're crazy beautiful.
I remember when you were all questions and no answers.
Just a gangly kid with braces on your teeth.
I cared enough to set you free.
who could put a frown on your smile
With the deck stacked and all odds against you,
still you landed on your feet
beating the best by a country mile

Cuz, you're beautiful. Flower child.
you're beautiful to me.
Indeed.
It's so hard to feed a flower child in need.
It's hard to believe the flower child in me.

Tuck in the kids I'm going to share their laughter
big daddy's gonna get the best part of momma after
I'd love to see your Rock n roll heart.
til then, we could never be.
It's hard to feed a flower child in need.
it's time that we meet
on the sly
so discreet.
It's hard to free a flower child indeed.
Believe, and free the flower child inside you and me.
