a fresh idea, let foment
What about this thing
we call love
contains ample sting
is it ever above?
What if we all 'THINK' we know
of what love is made
but only know the chemical aide
What if love can only come
after 20 yrs. of BEING ONE
Matters not
how long you've had the band
matters completely
if you're walking hand in hand
A perfect partnership of ONE
Be it in rain or be it SUN
I confess, I know not this
although I know
a real fine kiss
I even know dedication and devotion
But I've never swum in the same ocean
Two ships sailing in the deep
occasionally nearing
they do creak
Close enough they do speak
Late at night, jump deck,
and together peak
Sun is rising on the blue Pacific
Who knows real love? Be specific
We don't walk the same plank
clinging to love
together we sink
I walk the plank
and you don't care
me alone
standing there
Plank drops,
there you are,
soloing
the only star
Love come and find me
I want to come home
Walking as two
completely alone
no more
