We dance in tandem and see
We're out of sync - together/apart
As we engage in these endless
Exercises in futility
Timing, the discrepancy,
Our spirits colliding from the start
With a force that enmeshes us
In profound joy, pleasure and beauty
Reeling from impact, only
To feel pain from being ripped apart
Disoriented, helpless - senseless
Exercises in futility
I feel you cry out to me
And it tears at remnants of my heart
For my desire matches yours
In power, depth and intensity
We seek each other desperately
To claim our hearts from collage-like art
As we strive to end these endless
