It’s January 3,2005, and as I sit watching the raindrops hit my window pane I wonder is it just rain or is the Creator crying. Crying from the sorrow this past year has brought. Many people dying in Iraq for a war they say is just. But explain to the Creator and me what is just about the taking of life. Our president claims that this is a war on terrorism, but have we the once so-called victims of terrorism now became the very terrorist we claim we’re fighting against. The real war on terrorism is in our own very soul. We need to find it in our heart to let go of the vengeance and find a way to come to peace with one another. For peace is the only thing that will make God the Creator of life stop crying.
