I'm not a poet, as you'll probably find
but still I try and attempt to rhyme
in small verses with simple sayings
of things untold but always felt.
I try to rhyme, but it's not easy,
some words are small, other too long,
and words and feelings don't usually fit
unless touched by something sublime.
You write and write, and write and write,
waiting for that moment so unique and feeble
when inspiration hits you in the mind
making every phrase glow with feelings.
It's rare and beautiful, like most best things;
love and friendship, honour and self-realization.
And with this I here by end
wishing you a heart-felt goodbye.
