Marilyn Shepperson - Rainbow

2014-06-13 5

It was raining hard, yet the sun
Managed to break through the dark clouds
Causing a rainbow to arch itself
Across the dull and dismal sky
A brilliant, shining wonder of colour
Every band could be clearly seen
And although I know it's merely the light
Refracted through the droplets of water
Wouldn't it be wonderful, if there really was
A pot of gold at it's end.
