Why do I wake at night?
What makes you stare into space?
What makes me grin like a fool?
Where have we found this inner sight?
Why do your words fly through my brain?
What makes you want to share?
What makes me open up to you?
Why do we talk again and again?
The answer for me is simple you see,
The answer for you is the same no doubt;
For these past weeks have shown us this,
That you and I are meant to be.
