This year's been hard for some of us,
There's been pain, and lots and lots of fuss.
But next year looms, and with it comes
New beguinings, and a life of love.
Fear not dear friend, for life is good.
All that's bad for us shall disappear,
There'll be no pain, or hate, or fear.
Fresh starts, as some things come to end,
But do not morn them, learn and grow.
Fear not dear friend, for you'll be fine.
You're special, kind, and true and caring,
All these things you will be sharing;
With all your friends, and family,
And in good time, with one you love.
