Innocence falls in the shadows of oblivion.
Ominous halting of intellect is forsaken.
Falsified, unjustified; we are growing too soon.
Desolation prevails in the heart of attitude.
Apathetic murmurs shake the borders and the lines.
Apathy is growing…
Stirring more than what they’re knowing,
youth dictates progression.
Youth predicts recession in a power-hungry world.
Generations age, grow proudly enraged,
And the careless, drug-infested youth
wakes their teenage days.
As progression fades,
so shall it be lifted.
The minds of the unknowingly gifted
Will waste away in the cubicles you have shaped.
We will have wasted and regretted
The innocence we’ve raped.
Foolishness sinks deeper—
an isolated web of growth.
Insolence sparks intolerance
As the foolhardy meet their ghosts.
Rape the innocence— you rape the soul.
Unwillingly, we’ll fall into oblivion.
Obliviously we will to become what we detest.
