This land is what we are all about
Where we were born and raised
Whether in a small or large city
Or in open fields where cattle graze
It is yesterday and tomorrow
It is where our life begins
And as we grow much older
It is where it also ends
This land is where the families
Begin and where they grow
In the bustling industrial cities
Or in country where life is slow
We cherish our land always
It means the world to us all
It sets boundaries as well
Whether land is large or small
Many years ago there were
Farmsteads scattered near and far
Folks visited on horseback
For back then there were no cars
It is universal, of course
Whether red dirt or white sand
Just where ever you happen to be
It is all about this land!
