Zoe Elsworth - Snatched Life

2014-06-13 4

You viciously pushed me to the ground
The threat you promised if I made a sound
I fought to fight but you had the knife
Never before so afraid for my life

I lay there paralysed from utter fright
Blood so cold more so than the night
I knew your intentions but wished them not
In my mind against you I did so plot

He looked into my eyes and knew I’d resist
With that he quickly snapped my wrist
I let out a deadly yet silent cry
Only thought left in my head was just why

I was losing the battle of consciousness
As I passed out I found myself actless
Pain settled in as well as the shock
I awoke to the sound of a ticking clock

Strapped to a chair in an empty room
Here alone I did see my doom
It was no clock yet a ticking bomb
Still in my dress all ready for prom

Terrifying to see your time remaining
Last sounds to hear of outside raining
Time now so short your heart now frost
As the clock stops and you are lost
