Gotta hundred clocks biding my time:
Walls echo and tick, resounding sublime.
Repetition arrays how time pieces spin
celestial-geared logic, chime chime chime.
Gotta hundred clocks on my wall:
Cuckoo, grandfather, centennial,
digital and all. Slip-stream and crawl
across nerve endings, a fitful dream's call.
Gotta hundred clocks synchronized:
Gestations pulse and bear false witness
to impossible senses, I lie hypnotized
in sleep, unreplenished dream's duress.
Gotta hundred clocks biding my time:
Hallowed halls mimic metronome's
rhythmic toll, our measure often binds
heartache's tone-drone drone drone.
Gotta hundred clocks on my wall:
Don't know why or how, always
at standstill in space and time, eternal
hands pacing toward hope, love and faith.
Gotta hundred clocks biding my time:
Walls echo and tick, resounding sublime.
Repetition arrays how time pieces spin
celestial-born logic, chime chime chime.
Gotta hundred clocks biding my time:
Tick tick tick tick tick tick a-ticking
Bells bells bells bells bells bells a-welling
Chime chime chime chime chime chime a-chiming...
Gotta hundred clocks biding my time.
