Last time I saw you, you were in rehab
you broke your back in a car accident
beautiful girl of 19
we all took presents and cake to rehab - no booze was allowed
I remember how small you looked in that chair, and how your body was skew
Time past, I have no excuse that I didn't see you more
I'm just a selfish bastard I guess
Don't ever think I didn't think of you, we all did and still do
And tonight Morgan told me the news whilst I ate mussels (in lemon and butter sauce)
That you were having a baby tomorrow at eight am.
A little girl
And the world seemed a hell of alot brighter after that
