As a highland waterfall
fell, cascading clean and pure
he hurtled out of the glen
lone rider; without his men.
Astride a silver charger
ride on -on to kingdom come
'C'est le roi des écossais! '
Restored to his rightful place.
Knight of honor, brave and true
for how could I forget you?
Noble, t'was magnificence
walking the way of Wallace.
Once enfolded and engulfed
cleansed by fathomless torrents,
awoke; touched that golden head
'take care' I simply said
But he was gone.
