We all know that flowers need rain
But what dark desire, has a man, for pain?
The seasons arrive and spin their spells
But what sad passion drives a man to Hell?
Actuality, knowledge, experience: life
Can only wisdom transcend this strife?
When a man has love and lets it go
Is he a fool in what he knows?
If perfection is really nonexistent
Must a man seek it, so consistent'?
Goodbye, my child, of hope and want
Your memory, to me, will remain a haunt.
Goodbye! Goodbye! Fare thee well!
Why goodbye?
I cannot tell.
