Jeff Fleischer - Rosa Parks

2014-06-12 29

One day a black woman boarded the bus.
The driver ordered her to the back to her disgust.
She was proud of her color.
Proud of her race.
Determined not to suffer this disgrace.
So she dug deep into her heart and soul,
Overcoming fear was her goal.
She looked back and saw a prison.
She turned to the front and saw liberation.
In the front she did remain.
One link in the civil rights freedom chain.
