Irina Whitford - Dear Grandma

2014-06-12 2

There is a speckled photograph
It's sepia in hue
While the foregrounds unfamiliar
In the centre there sits you.
It is a special picture of when you once were here
A faraway glaze of happy days
Of times you loved so dear.
I wonder though 'dear grandma'
As you watch from up above
Have we followed in your teachings
Always given with much love?
I feel your spirit Grandma
The white light says its true
I have become steadfast in life
And it's all because of you.
