Janet Mary Zylstra - Seasons

2014-06-12 1

For everything there is an hour;
Seasons come and seasons go.
A moment for a rose to bloom,
For the tide to ebb and then to flow.

A season when the sky is blue,
Another when it's grey;
A moment when the darkest night
Blossoms into brightest day.

An hour when the sun will set,
It's 'cheerio' a crimson sky,
And in its place a host of stars,
Diamonds sparkling up on high.

Seasons come and seasons go
But loving feelings stay;
The treasures cherished in your heart
Can never fade away.
