Today I walked into the house
Where we once had a life
The empty halls the barren walls
So alone am I tonight
The places where your pictures stood
Your clothes that hung when times were good
But most of all I miss more than all
Is the holding you when I could
They say that fate it has it's reasons
For what happens in our lives
Well fate for me it's had it's turn
And has left these tears I cry
Now as I walk these lonely halls
And I stare at barren walls
I realize so alone am I
I can't help the tears that fall
As I walk into our room
The fragrance is still of your perfume
So alone can be a life
When for love the heart it cries.
