David de Haas - i found you

2014-06-12 1

MALE: There was a night where I felt alone.
Then I found you in a lantern lit street.
The stars and the moon were out, like in some fiery tale dream.
You looked so beautiful and divine, standing there in cold.

FEMALE: I could not believe you were looking at me.
With those beautiful blue eye’s, and that hansom little smile.

MALE: I came to say hello, you looked a bit cold.
I offered my jacket to keep you warm.

FEMALE: I laughed because I had mine.
But I took it anyway just to see you smile again.

MALE: we began to talk about what we did that night.
Talking the night away.

FEMALE: I never new I could like someone like you.
So nice and gentle.

MALE: we went out to have a drink of coffee.
Instead I asked you out.

FEMALE: I said yes.
And yet felt like I had known you for years.

MALE AND FEMALE: Yet after all these years, I have never forgotten.

MALE AND FEMALE: When I found you.
