Peter S. Quinn - Encouragement's Dream Song - In Dim Times

2014-06-12 3

There are nights without a song
Only clouds of whimsy whim
That steer dark as they go along
Callowness in deep mood's hymn
Painting and fuming winter's sky
Corrugated in red cylinders ways
Through the holes like cats-eye
Gleaming light of the fading rays

Cravings for an additional sound
Of summer's appealing gone
With its window-dressing found
In mauve galaxies vivid neon
Dwell on tension in colors stale
Of tomorrow's that never comes
Searching on their questing trail
Are these cosmos old blossoms

Give me encouragement’s dream
To sing my song as it openly is
In the deep-sea space ways stream
Where blaze are to eyes like bliss
