I love New York
With the different views
And many scenes!
I love the 'village'...
Both East and West it seems!
Central Park and Park Avenue
Sylvia's and BBQ's
Theater shows and vendored rows
Selling the finest art and unique
Designer clothes!
I love Manhattan and the Bronx,
Brooklyn and Yonkers too!
Staten Island is okay...
But there is little to do!
I love to watch the people,
From cafés that solicit dreams.
I like the nightlife that seems so right!
But if it's passed a certain time and I'm late...
I can't get into Queens!
And that's the only thing about the 'City' I hate!
The only thing that makes me 'steam'.
