Someday I will travel into a distant land
and unearthed my roots as I go
I will travel as fast as daylight permit
And at night I will listen carefully to
The whispering of the winds in my ears
And as sun rises I will plant my tree
On a new soil, with fond memories
I will remember the land I left behind
The birds will be my best friends
For they know how to lighten my mood
When I feel home sick and bored
Of course I will write about the season too
I will tell stories of the women in the flower
fields and the men with their box truck
and straw hat with each of them wearing
A funny grin and mischievous smile
I will make a lullaby about pretty girls
and their flawless gown, boys on the
back of horses with oversized cowboy hat
I wouldn't forget the whispering palms
And the green hillside with a handful of
Lilies in the landscape
I'd tell all I have seen here, in this new land
I will tell all but one I will keep as secret
