Min Min Chua - Ballet Dreams

2014-06-12 1

I still remember those days,

where I struggled through thick and thin.

Thinking whether there would be a tomorrow for me,

or would there not be?

I looked at my Mum for one last time

begging and pleading her not to leave,

Her words with no sincerity,

as she harshly said, ''I'm sorry.''

And now I have succeeded,

I've proved myself to her.

As I stand on stage, those memories come back,

the tears couldn't be held back

My mind in turmoil, not knowing what to do,

I think of the obstacles I've gone through

This is it, I told myself,

and I stood on en pointe.
