Have you ever spent a night
Out in the dense dark forest?
Perhaps you pitch a tent
For an outdoorsy kind of rest
Well, I’m really not much for tents
I’d rather drag a trailer behind
Plenty of food inside my house
Most anything that I need to find
In fact, it is fully contained
Even my bathtub is there for me
I guess I’m not really ‘roughing it’
But still I’m out amongst the trees
Anyway, we get the wood gathered
Right into the pit it goes
I sit in my favorite outdoor chair
And toast marshmallows along with my toes
Those marshmallows taste so delicious
So crispy and golden on the outside
And sweet and gooey on the inside
I eat several without breaking stride
All the food tastes so amazing
When it is cooked right on the fire
It’s the most delicious food to imagine
So wonderful when you’re able to retire!
