Peter Gilroy (http://goo.gl/B3Fki) returns to Trailer Hitch, joining Jack & Uncle Al to review the new Guillermo Del Toro giant robots vs. invading giant Kaiju monsters film, Pacific Rim 2013 official trailer on Trailer Hitch. Right off the bat, Uncle Al thinks he smells pot on Pete and Jack's clothes and insists the cousins have been "blazin'"! Cousin Pete counters that marijuana is practically legal and the three are off and running. Again, Uncle Al thinks the movie's invading giant Kaiju monster threat must be "aliens", and for once he's right! They argue over Guillermo Del Toro's fascination with demons rising from the earth; that the giant robot Jaegers would never have been built in time with all the government red tape; why it is that the giant robot Jaegers can't just walk out into the ocean and the ridiculous need to build giant flying ships that can lift them; that driving the Jaegers is like the ultimate Nintendo Wii game and that gamers would be more suited to drive the Jaegers and battle Kaiju than pumped-up jocks; and ultimately that famine is better way to die than being eaten by giant Kaiju monsters. Also with references to Guillermo Del Toro's Hellboy and the 50's Ray Harryhausen stop motion animation classic, It Came From Beneath the Sea.
