This week's luscious lunchtime recipe is a Monte Cristo sandwich, which is a double-decker bacon, ham and cheese sandwich that is then dipped in an egg mixture and lightly fried on both sides, like savory French toast. One bite, and you'll be in love with the way the cheese oozes out but the bacon gives it crunch and heft. This sandwich recipe is like the best parts of breakfast, lunch and dinner all delivered on one plate!
