A popularity had is so passé
Like a trasition from one fad to another,
That eventually goes away.
For some it is nice to be the one adored.
Until the reality of becoming a bore to ignore,
Hits one that faces a closing of a door.
A popularity had is so passé .
Here today...
And 'maybe' tomorrow.
But never coming for anyone,
To sit and visit with hints of it to stay.
Anything or anyone once given it,
Gives it up one day.
