I sit at night and watch the hours fly,
I see the rising sun,
I see life's miracles pass me by,
I live a lie for gain of none.
Then there you were in the shelter of a nest,
built on love, built on rocks easy to rest,
I saw myriad sparkles of light reflected in your hair,
I felt the nature of your heart as your soul you bare.
Shine gentle, glow soft, sweet young dream,
speak and silence the world,
your body light, a feather on air would seem,
tenderly in my arms your love held.
I have loved you for one second only,
I will sit tonight and watch the hours lonely,
in the rays of the rising sun your face will show,
though miracles pass by I'll wait if you should go.
Within You Two
If you feel the pain within you,
then I shall rescue your love,
if you feel the need is in you,
then I'll capture the sun above,
but never leave me lonely,
never walk away,
I need to be with you only,
myself within you every day.
