Deep in the Forbidden Forest
There is a tiny house
Too small for anything
Even a little mouse
Now this you see,
Is the fairy's house
Where she lives with her friend
The tired old grouse
If you shrink yourself small
You might come in
For it's the dearest place
Only as high as a pin
Just push the sunny yellow door
And enter right in
You'll be in the hall
For you'll see a green bin
You may sink happily
Into the soft moss chair
You may notice the silver comb
And start brushing your hair
You will admire the exotic pictures
Of lovely swans, birds and fish
Or help yourself to a mini chocolate-chip cookie,
In a tiny blue dish
Next you might peep into the kitchen
And perhaps have your lunch
Of chicken and chips
Which you'll hungrily munch
You'll finger the bright chrysanthemums
Then maybe go to the cozy bedroom
Lie on the comfy pink bed
And be asleep in a zoom
It's a really lovely place
I hope you'll come visit soon
But be quick and come
Before the next full moon.
