Craig Anderson - Where Have All The Lovers Gone...

2014-06-12 11

Where have all the lovers gone
That walked down lanes of summer
Hands over styles and walks for miles
Hugs and kisses and a heart like a drummer.

Smells of apples and new mown hay
Picking wild blackberries where we lay
When hair was soft and smelled of love
The walk back home like hand in glove.

But now it's riches and bitches and hoes
Sweet as honey has been replaced with money
Caps and triggers gentlemen calling each other n*****s
The world's gone mad and it really isn't funny.
