BrokenHeartPheko Motaung - (War poems) The terrorist

2014-06-12 5

He was a model citizen who
Supported the government side
Against the insurgents who were
Without doubt under the ex president who
Was living in luxury and having a good time
With the women with loose morals overseas
He was a patriot and he did not ask the ruling
Mafiosi to compensate him when he lost his only
Son in the Great War To Pacify The Rebel terrorists
But the army leaders ordered his summary execution
And pointing to his corpse covered in his own rine
They pointed to his Rasta locks and said
He was an uncouth terrorist
It was plain to see
Now open your eyes colonel
And there's this crowd of patriotic citizens
And they're all hungry
And every man among them looks
Like a terrorist with a bomb
Hidden under his lice infested blanket
Donated by The High Commission For Refugees
And each one of them has those unkempt
Rasta locks
The guns are uncocked
Fingers are itching to pull
The triggers
Colonel
Give the order to shoot
