sue crocker - Catacombs

As I walk this deathly silent place

My nerves on edge I start to shake

The place where I did meet my doom

Amongst these lonely catacombs

The air is dry, it smell of dust

As I walk along in this eerie dusk

Bodies lie, my fear it looms

As I walk these scary catacombs

My ears can hear a muffled cry

Is it coming from deep inside

From one of these sealed and locked up tombs

It is cold among these catacombs

I walk alone for I am dead

This is the place I should lay my head

I don't belong, I met my doom

Amongst these lonely catacombs

I walk in spirit, there is no peace

My moaning cries will never cease

Till I am found, my presence will loom

Locked within these catacombs
