I have two playful kittens
They are so awful nice,
They creep with stealthy footsteps
To catch the tawny mice.
They romp and play together
They have such heaps of fun,
One is white, with blue spots
Malteese, the other one.
Malteese, we call him Bluey
The white one's name is Teaser,
And sometimes he gets so rough
He slaps bluey on the beaser.
They play hide-and-seek together
Around the stove and chairs,
Under beds, behind the doors
Up and down the stairs.
They've growed so much, those kittens
You'd never, never know,
They were the same little kittens
Of so short a time ago.
