With every second, my heart breaks
with every step, I die a little.
Knowing that you were always there for me,
and now- now you're gone.
You cared for me and you loved me,
you promised you'd always protect me,
but how can you now that you're gone?
You made me laugh,
and now you make me cry,
knowing that this
is goodbye.
I hide the tears,
that stream down my face,
because the last thing you need to see,
is see my cry.
What will I do,
now that you're gone,
you've been there for me,
since my very first dawn.
I knew one day,
this would come,
but never did I think
it would so soon.
Now that you're gone,
I'm on my own,
now that you're gone,
my tears are endless.
