I get up these days feeling depressed,
gloomy, sad.
The cold weather is making
me at times so mad.
How much more must
we have?
Went to bed like any
other night.
I awoke to my five year
old.
Singing,
''WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD''
He said ''Summer is here''
As I looked out my patio
door, .
All that could be seen was
a garden full of beautiful
flowers.
My five year old said
''Its our magic garden''.
They had gone to
WalMarts and bought
the silk flower dept
completely out.
You name the flower
I had it in my yard.
My son said.
''They smell good to
mommy''
I said smell good''?
My husband shook
his head ''YES''
My son had gotten into
a hundred dollar bottle of
perfume given to
me as a gift
And sprayed all the
silk flowers.
I wanted to cry.
''Yes honey they'll
smell good till
the first rain.
.
That was the prettyiest
and best smelling
garden I'd ever seen
or smelled
