Gravy on the meat,
dressing on the salad.
Sauce on the fish,
Is ketchup that bad?

H.P. sauce on the steak,
mayonnaise on your chips.
Mustard on the cheese,
hollandaise sauce please.

I like a bit of sauce,
if it's done well.
When it reaches 'thin pudding' consistency,
time to ring the dinner bell.
