Opera Ghost - Wrong love

2014-06-11 4

She straddles with difficulty walking down the street
Despising eyes stare at her premature bulge
''Tsk Tsk'' she hears them say and looks down
She's a miserable neither-adult-nor-child
She's a guilty neither-adult-nor-child
''Where's the daddy? '' someone mocks
She starts to weep and looks away
Deep down in her heart she yearns for true love
But what she found was wrong love
Her mother and father could not stomach it
'Get out! '' they say, slapping her face
She looks for her ''boyfriend'' but got turned away
She's roaming in the streets depressed and heartbroken
She doesn't want him jailed for impregnating a minor
She's deep in the dark all alone and pained
She curses this bulge for giving everything away

Up and up and up she goes
Faint screams she hear but ignores them
One foot on the floor the other defying gravity
She flies to the sky, leaving behind a loud
'boom'
