Marcellino Carlo - Perfect Little Imperfections

2014-06-11 12

I'd start my days with a cigarette
blow smoke through my dark-ringed regrets
My dear I fear you're too care-free

No knickers as your slip on your skinny jeans
I give you protection, you know what I mean
You rebut and say my armour's just too cold.

A little smile as you put on your angel wings
your freckles and laugh the joy that they bring
My dear I'm afraid just won't be enough.

Blindfolded trying to re-fasten the hook
you say you're shy and not to look
the tiny flaws are okay my dear.

A kiss on the cheek and a bite of the lip
and a vivid imagination filled with your tattooed hips
are all I have to remind me of you my dear.

But I'm not prefect and just a sinner
I'll break your heart and eat it up for dinner
I guess you should have known better my dear.

But there's something about your little imperfections
that are perfect and you'll use them as weapons
Just make sure your intentions are clear.
