Fire at cargo complex near old terminal of the Karachi airport could not be fully controlled after two days, Dunya News reported.
Whole structure of the cargo complex has been razed and mobile phones in large number have been destroyed in the godown.
According to sources, the fire is intermittently erupting due to mobile batteries.
Goods belonging to different companies are still present in cargo complex but damage could increase if fire spread further.
Representatives of cargo companies are continuously contacting Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) officials but no measures he been taken so far to douse the flames.
